Your Actuate Accountant
Actuate Accounting aims to deliver proactive and relevant advice to our clients. Our team is focused on providing support to our clients to empower them to achieve their business and personal goals. We believe that action is the key to successful businesses and providing timely information to clients allows for better financial decisions. Our name derives from this goal.
The definition of actuate is ‘to put into action’ or ‘motivate’. This is the service we aim to provide to our clients.
OUR KEY PEOPLE
Katherine has over 20 years experience in the accounting industry, spending the first 15 years in a Chartered Accounting environment before moving into a commercial role with a large Radiology business. Katherine has returned to Chartered accounting however has combined her two sets of experience and specialises in providing outsourced accounting solutions to all sizes of businesses.
Her passion is to work closely with businesses and people to alleviate them of all finance functions to allow them to focus on their core business. She performs the CFO role for many clients and provides timely management accounting reports on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure that business owners are making informed financial and business decisions without the need for internal finance staff or bookkeepers.
Katherine has extensive experience in complex budgeting and preparing integrated 3 way forecasts (P&L, Balance sheet and cashflow) to present your business to banks and to the Board showing the complete financial position of your business.
David has over 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance industry working in chartered practice as well as in commercial business.
David works extensively with small to medium enterprises across varying industries with a primary goal of assisting his clients achieving their business and personal goals.
David aims to work with his clients on a “grass roots” level, providing advice which is practical and understandable to his clients whilst developing a strong working relationship.
David specialises in accounting and taxation compliance, budget and cashflow management, business structuring including investment purchases and disposals, succession planning and wealth creation.
Michael is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with fourteen years’ experience in outsourced CFO services at public accounting firms. Michael has been part of the Actuate Accounting team for nine years. During his time he has provided services to a range of organisations from a variety of industries including Property, Education, Radiology, Retail and Not for Profit.
